TB and Diabetes in the Pacific
Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV are closely linked diseases for many communities in and beyond the mainland of the United States. TB is also closely linked to diabetes. In the Pacific Islands, both conditions have reached epidemic levels. Dr. Richard Brostrom, from the Hawaii State Department of Health, has become and expert on treating TB and diabetes in the Pacific. In this recorded talk from late October, 2014, Dr. Brostrom discusses challenges and successes from Pacific Island Jurisdiction providers. (This resource came to us by way of USAID)
