Outreach Safety Overview & Checklist

This Outreach Safety Overview and Checklist will help program coordinators prepare their employees for outreach. Street outreach is a recruitment method used by HIV prevention programs around the world to locate, engage, and motivate people at high risk for HIV/AIDS to take an HIV test or enroll in other prevention services. Street outreach programs rely on well-trained staff and volunteers to motivate people who have not been effectively reached through other recruitment strategies like social media campaigns or billboards.
