Online Training: Linkage to Care

This online training is part of a series of online trainings explaining new directions in HIV prevention as put forth in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) new High Impact HIV Prevention approach. This online training focuses on the new emphasis on Linkage to Care as an essential component of High Impact HIV Prevention. Topics to be covered include: a *brief* overview of High Impact HIV Prevention (for a more comprehensive explanation of this new approach, you may wish to consider completing the *Overview of High Impact HIV Prevention* online training), the importance of linkage to care for people with HIV, barriers to linkage to care, an overview of a variety of effective linkage to care models, and specific discussion of the new ARTAS linkage to care intervention.

After completing this online training, you may wish to explore further online trainings in this series which will cover, in a more in-depth manner, various topics within High Impact HIV Prevention including: *An Overview of High Impact HIV Prevention*, *Prevention with Positives*, *Treatment as Prevention and Effective Treatment Adherence Interventions*, and *High Impact HIV Testing*.
