Nonprofits are often encourage to diversify funding streams in order to achieve more financial stability. For our HIV prevention and care providers who are accustomed to applying to and receiving federal awards, money from a private foundation like the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, may be a completely new experience.
Like any funder, Kellogg wants its grantees to be successful, so it offers several tools to support planning and implementation. This online “Evaluation Handbook” is an excellent resource (even if you aren’t receiving Kellogg funds), so we encourage you to browse it and find what you need. There are templates, instructions, and several examples to help you design evaluation activities that will truly help your program monitor and improve outcomes.
